Global financial crisis hitting Gambia (AllGambian.Net)

In contrast to recent remarks by President Yahya Jammeh that the Gambian economy is ’strong and resilient in spite of all the turbulence and uncertainties in the global economy’, the secretary of state for Finance and Economic Affairs has admitted that the country is being adversely affected by the global financial crisis.
