Castle legislation to encourage loan modifications passes committee (The Delaware Business Ledger)

The Financial Services Committee passed H.R. 788, a bill introduced by Rep. Mike Castle (R-DE), Rep. Kanjorski (D-PA), and Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) to provide a safe harbor for mortgage servicers who engage in specified mortgage loan modifications.
