Global financial crisis halts Alcoa expansion (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
The global financial crisis has claimed another victim - this time the mining company Alcoa, which has suspended work on a proposed $1.5 billion expansion of its refinery at Wagerup, south of Perth.
